Planed on both faces - less waste, quick & easy to mount on the lathe
Wax sealed edges - stable & ready to store if required
Fully seasoned/Air dried - less stressed than kiln dried & easier to turn
 
All of these Burr Oak woodturning blanks packs are very similar in sizes and figuring. Photos show a representative sample.  Packs received will vary.  Some blanks will contain cracks and fissures as shown - such is the nature of Burr Oak.
