Tulipwood Bowl Blanks

100mm (4") thick Tulipwood in super thick blank sizes. Home-grown only two miles from our workshops, this deciduous hardwood is a little softer than most, and the blanks display a lovely subtle colour variation throughout  each piece. Very few small knots - if any - which makes them a good choice for carving as well as turning.
 
Centre marked - quicker set up & less waste
Planed on both faces - less waste, quick & easy to mount on the lathe
All blanks labelled with their species 
Wax sealed edges - stable & ready to store if required
Fully seasoned/Air dried - less stressed than kiln dried & easier to turn
