Panga Panga blanks (similar to Wenge)

Panga Panga is very similar in working properties and appearance to Wenge, and it’s not uncommon for the two species to be used and mixed interchangeably.  Its heartwood is a very dark brown with black streaks which, upon application of a wood finish (particularly an oil-finish) can become nearly black.
 
These boards have come from a small supply of 'old stock' East African Hardwoods bought, from within the UK, from a retired importer. Our stocks are therefore limited so move quick to avoid disappointment.
