If you can't recognise Camphor timber by sight, you may well be able to recognise it by smell! Camphor is often used in medicine, cosmetics and perfumes due to its amazing, distinctive smell, which the English Woods team have been enjoying as it has wafted through the workshop. Although native to East Asia, this tree came from Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens in Dorset.
