Ash Spindles

English Ash 'square' spindle blanks cut from locally felled trees.  Often considered a bit ordinary but in reality it's far from it. The pale yellows and browns are delicate and attractive and the grain patterns pronounced. It's a heavy, medium coarse grained timber that is strong with good resistance to splitting.
 
Planed on two faces - easier to mark out 
Wax sealed ends - stable & ready to store if required
Fully seasoned/Air dried - less stressed than kiln dried & easier to turn

The prices are for one blank - choose the length from the drop down menue.  Blanks are supplied with a sawn finish and are air dried.  The pictures show a representative sample and the blanks are all similar.
