Jelutong Wood Carving Blanks

Perfect for carving in every way.
 
Jelutong has a consistent, even grain and hardly ever includes any knots. It's dense enough to achieve a good level of fine detail while being relatively easy to carve - just like Lime. It's an excellent alternative to Lime and has been used for many years in the pattern-making industry to fashion 'patterns' to produce moulds for casting.

Several large sizes available, please select from the drop down menus at the top of the listing. Note that the grain will always run along the 'length' of a chosen size.

Widths - 105mm (4"), 155mm (6"), 205mm (8") & 255mm (10") +/- 5mm
Lengths - 200mm (8"), 400mm (16"), 600mm (24") & 800mm (32")
Please note that the widths are supplied +/- 5mm.
Blanks may include the occasional small knot.
