19 Piece Woodturners Selection Box

A 19 piece selection box for wood turners including a mix of sizes and species of woodturning and carving blanks. Representing excellent value, these are presented in a plain brown box ideally suited as a gift.
 
The box contains:
5 English Yew pen blanks
7 bowl blanks selected from the species list below
7 spindle blanks (squares)
 
Centre marked - quicker set up & less waste
Planed on both faces - less waste, quick & easy to mount on the lathe
All blanks labelled with their species 
Wax sealed edges - stable & ready to store if required
Fully seasoned/Air dried - less stressed than kiln dried & easier to turn

Bowl blanks 
Diameter 105 - 205mm (4" - 8"), Thickness 30 - 80mm (1 1/2" x 3")
Spindle blanks
Section 40 - 80mm (1 1/2" - 3"), Length 80 - 300mm (3" - 12")
Pen blanks 
All 25 x 25 x 160mm (1" x 1" x 6 1/4")
 
Species list:
Ash, Apple, Spalted Beech, Hawthorn, Sweet Chestnut, English Walnut, Horse Chestnut, Holm Oak, Cedar of Lebanon, Eucalyptus, English Oak, Laburnum, Mahogany, Brown Oak, Iroko, Meranti, Olive Ash, Beech, Silver Birch, Wild Cherry, Elm, Holly, Lime, Yew, Sycamore, 
plus others.
 
All blanks will be labelled and are fully seasoned and waxed, ready to put on the lathe. Bowl blanks are usually planed on both faces, but occasionally some may be supplied rough sawn.
 
Pictures are of a representative sample and each box will contain a different selection of blanks of similar sizes and species.
