Two Tone Sycamore Bowl Blanks

Explore the striking contrast between the two tones in this unusual Sycamore.
 
This timber comes from a tree felled locally by us. The heart of the tree was tinted with a rich seam of darker wood. Now the sawn timber is fully seasoned and ready to be made into something striking.
 
All blanks include some light and dark wood, and each one is unique.

Planed on both faces - less waste, quick & easy to mount on the lathe
All blanks labelled with their species 
Wax sealed edges - stable & ready to store if required
Fully seasoned/Air dried - less stressed than kiln dried & easier to turn
