The genus Eucalyptus includes over seven hundred different species and we're not sure which species this is.  It was grown within half a mile of our workshops here in Devon and, having never sawn Eucalyptus before, it was a bit of a gamble for us to see how it would turn out.  As you can see in the pictures, interesting voids have opened up as the wood has seasoned, and these represent an opportunity for resin fill or just for creating an interesting an unusual bowl.
 
Blanks are planed both sides to 45mm thick and are available various diameters:
105mm (4") to 405mm (16")
