Sweet Chestnut Bowl Blanks - 50mm (2") thick
Known for it's durability, Sweet Chestnut wood is dense and tough with a straight, defined grain pattern in younger trees and sometimes twisted grain patterns in older trees. Largely free from knots, the colour is a rich yellow, bordering on ochre. Pleasant to turn or carve.
