Nothofagus Bowl Blanks - 50mm Thick

Nothofagus bowl blanks for woodturning or carving.  50mm (2") thick.

 

Also known as Southern Beech, Nothofagus is a native of the southern hemisphere although it is seen in parks and gardens around the UK.  This particular tree came from a private estate near Plymouth.  The timber is probably closer in appearance to Cherry than it is to Beech.

 

Available in the following diameters as stocks allow:

 

105mm (4"), 130mm (5"), 155mm (6"), 180mm (7"), 205mm (8"), 230mm (9"), 255mm (10"), 280mm (11"), 305mm (12"), 330mm (13") and 355mm (14")
