Nothofagus bowl blanks for woodturning or carving. 50mm (2") thick.
Also known as Southern Beech, Nothofagus is a native of the southern hemisphere although it is seen in parks and gardens around the UK. This particular tree came from a private estate near Plymouth. The timber is probably closer in appearance to Cherry than it is to Beech.
